The Vigo County School Corp. administration plans to make a recommendation related to the sex education curriculum and use of Creating Positive Relationships program after about a year of school board and community discussion.
Superintendent Rob Haworth doesn’t always have a timeline as to whenever he will provide that recommendation, but he anticipates presenting it at a school board work session before requesting college board action at an everyday conference; he will first look for input through the college board’s intercourse training committee.
The intercourse ed committee came across Tuesday and had two separate reviews of this CPR/sex ed curriculum, one generally speaking favorable plus the other — very critical — suggesting a « change to an evidence-based curriculum » that is evaluated for medical precision as well as other factors.
